I didn’t want to inundate the previous post about floor lamps, but the fact of the matter is, there were a few other interesting, attractive lamps that I had found during my search to share.
A sleek, contemporary floor lamp by Kenroy Home:

This lamp by Adesso has a bit of a mindbending base:

Adesso Twist Floor Lamp, Dark Walnut
This lamp has a small, built-in tray table that would probably be great to place in a corner reading nook:

Adesso Concierge Floor Lamp, Steel
A lamp for a little bit of glamour:

Adesso Rain Tree Floor Lamp, Satin Steel
Adesso Spindle Floor Lamp, Black
I like the sophisticated look to this floor lamp with the black accent striping on the drum shade:

Black Chrome Ribbed Column Floor Lamp
This lamp is a bit pricier than some of the others, but I thought it had a unique, modern look to it with a bit of an Asian influence. It does include a built-in tray, so it could be an alternative to the side table and lamp configuration.

Black Rectangle with Tray Floor Lamp
I like the whimsical nature of this floor lamp:

Bubbles Black Rectangular 60″ High Floor Lamp
A lamp with any eye-catching curvy base:

A very striking, sleek and contemporary lamp:

A lamp for a clean, minimalist look:

A simple lamp with a two-tone shade for a bit of interest:

A classy floor lamp suitable for any space:

Here is an interesting piece that blends a small bookshelf with a built-in lamp:

I like the weightiness of this lamp’s base and the chocolate accents:

Floor lamps seem to vary widely in price. On the lower spectrum, I have seen your basic college-dorm type lamp for as little as $10 and escalating to even hundreds of dollars or more for the ultra-contemporary variety.
I’ve found some fun and unique lamps that move away from the typical torchier style commonplace in many big retail and department stores. Throughout the years, I’ve purchased one too many of those starter lamps that seemed to always offer terrible light and looked equally as inadequate.
These lamps are all at least $100 and up, but I think they are worth the investment for offering a less generic and certainly more aesthetically pleasing floor-level lighting solution typically found in stores.
An interesting lamp for a bit of an Asian vibe:
Autumn Branch Square Tower Floor Lamp
This is easily one of the most gorgeous floor lamps I have ever seen. Everything from the base to the shade is wonderful. If you like the look of this lamp, but aren’t in need of floor-level lighting, this is available in a table lamp as well.

Kenroy Home Plateau Floor Lamp

Here a simple, but elegant lamp with a crisp white drum shade and minimalist black base:
A floor lamp in a transitional styling with a warm, beige shade and base made of wood and metal accents:
