Magazine Storage and Organization

It is important to consolidate magazine, catalog, or newspaper collections as they can quickly grow to take up unnecessary space while becoming outdated or rarely read.
Despite being very careful about recycling the unwanted items, the daily catalog and magazine arrivals seem to get out of hand. I already have one magazine rack filled to the brim with current circulars and have no place for any new ones.
There are a lot of storage solutions available out there and I suppose choosing one depends on the amount desired to be invested and the nature of the piece.
For those wanting seamless storage to blend with wood tones possibly existing already in the room’s decor scheme, there are a lot of classy racks that would not look so out-of-place.
I quite liked the look of these mission-style magazine racks that come in different finishes for those wanting something not only functional, but elegant as well.

This rack only seems to be available in the espresso finish pictured, but has a unique, fold-out tabletop built-in.

For those who really enjoy the mission-style, but wanted a lighter, natural wood finish this piece might be more favorable.

Here is a handled basket-styled rack composed of woven seagrass. It seems to part of a bathroom accessory collection, but could surely be used individually as well.

I like this magazine rack as it has a sculptural feel to it, so it would definitely be a very stylish storage piece. It seems to be available in a few other colors as well.

Here is another somewhat artsy piece in a rich walnut finish by Adesso. Much like the above piece, it has nice curves and offers a decorative side to magazine storage.

There are quite a bit of metal wire styled racks that are even more affordable for those not wanting to spend too much or want to avoid a bulky, furniture-type piece.

Most of the above have been in a silver/chrome finish, so here are some racks in a black metal finish.

Floor space can get tight with large furniture pieces and enough of the floor racks, so I liked the idea of these mounted solutions as well. Here is a wall-mountable magazine rack in a chrome metal finish.

This rack is available in a black metal finish with horizontal-oriented storage.
