Shoe Organization

Anyone with a notable shoe collection could appreciate adequate storage solutions. Because shoes seem to occupy so many spots throughout the house, I needed items that would serve different functions in the multiple spaces.
This cubby-style unit holds 15 pairs of shoes and can be customized to fit neatly away in the closet. This piece will be ideal for storing those pairs worn less frequently while keeping some order to a closet already disorganized with clothes and other personal clutter.

This cubed organizer is a little more simplistic in that it isn’t customizable, but it does seem to come in different finishes. It also holds up to 15 pair of shoes as well.

Here is an expandable two-tier rack by Whitney Design that can be widened to accommodate 6-12 pairs of shoes.

For those wanting a similar rack-style storage solution and have the floor room to spare, this item seems to house more than the above option.

I don’t really have a ton of floor space available in my closet, so I liked the idea of this hanging canvas bag. It holds 10 pairs of shoes and can be attached to the closet rod. The reviewers have mentioned that it seems more fit for smaller shoes, so this might not be a solution for all.

I like the idea of these shoe trees in that I can place them by the doorway for convenient access. This three-tiered version is perfect for me as it holds a generous amount of shoes at 18 pairs. This seems a little excessive for something I would plan on storing in the open, so I’ll probably limit this number quite a bit.

Here is a larger version that holds an additional 4 pairs of shoes for a total of 24 pairs. I forgot to mention that both of these items revolve, an added bonus.

It’s a bit embarrassing that I would need multiple products to rein in the shoes, but I’m sure many share this dilemma. Perhaps during the organization, one could be inspired to possibly eliminate some of the scarcely-worn and make room for inevitable new additions.
